University Of Newcastle Science Scholarships for International Students, 2019 | Study in Australia: About 50 scholarship slots have been declared for international students intending to enrol for their studies at the faculty of science of the University of Newcastle in Australia. The number of scholarships declared, which is subject to increase depending on the number of interested and qualified applicants, will be awarded to both undergraduate and postgraduate students from foreign nationalities that are on self-sponsorship. Beneficiaries will get funded up to the tone of $5000 in support of their study needs.

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: 

Candidates applying for the University of Newcastle Science Scholarships for International Students must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Be commencing in an eligible undergraduate single/combined degree program or Postgraduate program at Masters level on-campus with the Faculty of Science, University of Newcastle.
• Be enrolled full-time.
• Be an International full-fee paying student.
• Not hold another faculty-funded scholarship or tuition fee waiver for the same program.
• Not have previously received this scholarship

Field of Study Eligible for the Award: Students enrolling for the following field of studies listed below are eligible to apply for the scholarships:

1. Biotechnology
2. Development Studies

• Development Studies and Social Science/Business

1. Environmental Science and Management/Management (Hons)
2. Exercise and Sports science
3. Food Science and Human Nutrition and many other fields.

Also, those in the field of Clinical Psychology, Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation, and Business Psychology can apply (strictly for postgraduate degree program)

There is no separate application required for this scholarship. Interested persons are however advice to apply for admission and be enrolled into any of the programs listed above.

Scholarships will be awarded to all full-fee paying International students who meet the criteria and receive an offer for admission to an eligible Faculty of Science program.
