The scholars are given full sponsorship to pursue either an undergraduate or a professional master’s degree programme.

3.) Bill Gate Scholarships (The Gates Scholarship)

The Gates Scholarship, targeted at high performing students with good academic records, aims to support students’ full cost of attendance as specified by their college or university in the United States. The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

4.) AAUW International Fellowships Program

American Association of University Women – AAUW International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The scholarship is worth $18,000 for Masters, 20,000 for PhD and $30,000 for Postdoctoral students. Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree by September 30, (previous year) and apply to their proposed institutions of study preceding time of the scholarship application.

5.) Harambe Fletcher Scholarships for African Students USA

The Harambe Fletcher Scholarship is a full-tuition award for young African entrepreneurial leaders wishing to pursue a master’s program at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, starting in September. Eligible Field of Study is Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD), Master of International Business (MIB).

6.) The Humphrey Fellowship Program

The Humphrey Fellowship Program has been designed for experienced professionals and aimed at helping them strengthen their leadership skills through a mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common concern in Fellows’ home countries and the U.S. Approximately 200 fully funded fellowships are awarded annually, to eligible candidates from countries in East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa,   South and Central Asia, and Western Hemisphere.

7.) The Boustany MBA Harvard University Scholarship

The Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship is granted once every two years for a two year course at Harvard Business School.

The Scholarship offers the following:
• Financial aid amounting to US$95,000 (US$47,500 per year) towards tuition fees
• Travel and accommodation expenses related to the internship.

8.) 7UP Harvard Business School Scholarship for Nigerian Students

The Seven UP Harvard Business School full Scholarship was created by Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc of Nigeria to commemorate its 50th anniversary and aligns with the Company’s overall vision of creating a greener future for promising Nigerians. Application opens for students admitted to the Harvard Business School MBA Class of following year.

9.) Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

The Google Lime Scholarship awarded to study in USA or Canada at Undergraduate, Graduate or Ph.D. Level, is a fully-funded scholarship offered to students with Disabilities who have interest in courses like Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.

17.) International Merit Scholarships at Iowa State University

Iowa State is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to well-rounded students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, and outstanding talent or achievements in one or more of the following areas: Maths and Sciences, the Arts, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

18.) Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) Programme

The YYAS is an intensive academic and enrichment programme aimed at supporting young Africans who are currently in the secondary school and planning to pursue a higher education as well as those wishing to make a meaningful leadership impact as youths. The program covers full funding for qualified African scholars to study in the United States.

19.) Illinois Wesleyan University International Student Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams. These scholarships in USA undergraduate awards range from $10,000 to $30,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years. In some instances, additional help is provided through student loans and campus employment.

In addition, two full-tuition President’s International Student Scholarships are offered. 20.) New York University Wagner Scholarships

These scholarships are offered to a limited number of admitted students each application cycle, including all NYU Wagner degree programs and international students.  Awards are based solely on the strength of the application and the contributions the Graduate Admissions Committee believes the applicant can make to the NYU Wagner community.

All international postgraduate student applicants at NYU Wagner are automatically considered for all merit-based scholarships, as the University gives equal consideration to scholarship applicants from within the United States and abroad. The awards are partial to full-tuition scholarships including the Robert F. Wagner Scholarship which includes a $20,000 annual stipend.
