Malaria Consortium is recruiting to fill the following positions (below):

1.) NIG SMP SCO Supply Chain Officer

Job Locations: Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kastina and Yobe

Job Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

  • Proven previous experience in Supply Chain and Logistics Management of Malaria or HIV/AIDS commodities
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related role
  • Have a bachelor degree in Pharmacy
  • Experience managing a medical supply chain and coordination
  • The person must be familiar with the national supply chain system of MoH and LMIS , including MCLS
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders on the supply chain management of public health commodities
  • Good inter-personal, communication and planning skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with good understanding of logistic management of public health commodities in Nigeria
  • Experience with using Microsoft Dynamics NAV or another equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning system.

2.) GF / SMC Supply Chain Officer

Job Locations: Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Yobe

Job Qualifications and experience:

3.) Field Administration Officer

Job Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Significant years’ experience in similar role
  • Good supervisory, inter-personal, communication and planning skills

Desirable:

  • Proven previous experience in office management
  • Possess good understanding, knowledge and experience in document control and management

4.) State Technical Officer

Job Locations: Kano, Katsina and Yobe

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:

  • Degree in Medical, Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology or another relevant specialty is a minimum requirement
  • Significant experience of working in developing countries
  • Excellent project planning, management and monitoring & evaluation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Work-based skills and competencies:
Essential:

  • Knowledge of medical supplies procurement and supply chain management
  • Technical knowledge and skills in control of malaria, pneumonia and diarrhoea
  • Familiar with public health principles
  • Familiar with monitoring and evaluation of community-based health programmes
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills are also needed

5.) Procurement and Admin Officer

Location: Nigeria – Abuja

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree or similiar qualification in procurement and administration or related field
  • At least 3 years experience working in an operations related role specifically in procurement
  • Proven writing skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively and sensitively with staff in other locations
  • A collaborative and flexible style with a strong services mentality.
