MTN Foundation Scholarship for Nigerian Tertiary Education Students 2019: As part of its social corporate responsibility, the mobile communication network company, MTN, through its foundation MTN Foundation announces the commencement of application for its annual University, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education scholarships award scheme.
The scholarship for application to students in their third year of studies and will be awarded only to high performing students with good academic records who also meet other eligibility criteria. See Other Undergraduate Scholarships you may be interested in.

General Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Just like any other scholarship, the MTN Foundation scholarship has set out criteria for eligibility which are as follows;
1.) Applicants from public Universities and Colleges of Education in Nigeria must be full-time undergraduates in 300 level/3rd year.
2.) Applicants from public Universities and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.5 or its equivalent (2:1)
3.) Applicants from public Polytechnics must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) programme and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma programme (HND).
Direct entry level students must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the OND programme and must have secured admission into 300 level/3rd year in a public University.
MTN Foundation Scholarship Test Requirements
Applicants who meet the basic eligibility criteria for the MTN Foundation scholarship will be shortlisted and invited for a test which will further qualify them for the final award. They will be required to present the follow documents at the test venue;
- Two(2) recent passport photographs
- A valid Student ID card
- Any other means of identification (National ID card, International passport or Driver’s license)
- Admission letter from JAMB and institution of study.
- Admission letter for the HND programmes (For Polytechnic students only).
