Call for Application: ASRIC-UEMF Scholarships for African Scholars, 2020: The African Scientific Research and Innovation Council (ASRIC) together with the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes (UEMF) is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 scholarship space for African PhD students to commence their doctoral research work at the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes, Morocco. The duration of the scholarship is three years and students are expected to complete their studies within that period.
The scholarship includes tuition fees of $9,000, annual return ticket from home country, accommodation, $1,000 monthly stipend for 11 months every year. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the scholarship and take advantage of the sponsorship.

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the Call for Application: ASRIC-UEMF Scholarships for African Scholars, 2020, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be a national of one of the African Union Member State willing to undertake a full-time PhD studies in Morocco.
- Applicants must not be older than 35 years as at the time of applying for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have obtained a good master’s degree (in science or engineering), Diploma or Engineering Diploma or any other equivalent diploma (baccalaureate + 5).
- Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership and academic abilities and must be able to interact with people of diverse culture, religion and race.
- Applicant must also demonstrate excellent ability and devotion along with experiences in conducting research in the selected field of study.

How-to-Apply
Applicants are to access the application form, complete and submit same before the application deadline. Applicants are to attach the following documents: An updated CV; A certified copy of the baccalaureate; A certified copy of the master’s diploma or the engineering diploma or any other equivalent diploma (Bac + 5); A copy of certified transcript(s) of all university-level coursework completed corresponding to the diploma or masters; A copy of the Master or equivalent thesis or dissertation; A certified copy of the international passport and two personal passport-sized photographs.
