Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship provides incredible opportunity for international students from across the world to study in Wales for the 2023/24 academic session. The scholarship is the first of its kind in Wales and is funded by the Global Wales Programme- a partnership between Welsh Government, Universities Wales, The British Council and HEFCW.
All universities in Wales offer scholarships under the scheme, and interested applicants need to have already applied for a place to study an eligible postgraduate programme before submitting a scholarship application.

Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship 2023 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Have submitted an application to study an eligible postgraduate programme at one of the following Welsh Universities: Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Swansea University, University of South Wales, University of Wales trinity Saint David, Wrexham Glyndwr University.
- Be due to start a postgraduate programme in September 2023.
- Be classed as an overseas student for fee paying purposes.
- Be a citizen of an eligible country.

Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship are to first apply for admission into a participating university of choice. If granted admission, applicants are to proceed to submit their scholarship application while ensuring that they provide all the required information and documents.
