Jacobs Foundation Scholarship at University of Oxford for International Students: Applications are welcomed from international students to apply for the Jacobs Foundation Scholarship which is hosted at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.

The Jacobs Foundation Scholarship started in 2018 and is available for applicants with passion in the areas of youth and child development and/or education as well as agricultural development in the African continent. The Foundation has an entrepreneurial vision which is dedicated to social developmental issues and scholars of the foundation will as well be committed to the goals of the Foundation.

Jacobs Foundation Scholars Program | DETAILS

It is the earnest desire that Jacobs Foundation Scholars will be actively involved in the Jacobs Network, connecting with other fellows online and offline through participation in events and conferences. Scholars of the Foundation will also be eligible to attend the Swiss Week which is an introductory week in Zurich, Switzerland, before the commencement of their programme in Oxford.

Subject Eligibility: Child and Youth development, learning, education (ed-tech, early-ed, parenting, brain development), Agricultural development in Africa (Food security, microfinance, supply-chain), Impact investment with a preference for education.

Country/Candidate Eligibility: Scholarship is for students from Andorra, Asutralia, Belgium, Benin, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Croatia, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Holy See, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Latvia, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg,, Mali, Malta, Mauritania, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Togo, United Kingdom, United States. (With preference for: Senegal, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Benin, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany and Romania).

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

  • Applicants for the Jacobs Foundation Scholarship must have interest in the subject areas listed above.
  • Applicants who have industry experience in the non-governmental sector, education or the government sector are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants must be residents in one of the eligible countries.
  • Applicants with great academic credentials are especially encouraged to apply.
