GCHERA World Agriculture Prize 2021: The Global Conference of Higher Education Associations for Agricultural and Life Sciences (GCHERA) is pleased to announce the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize 2021 nomination.
The World Agriculture Prize is an international award of GCHERA with the aim of promoting the global development of the mission of its member institutions in education, research, innovation and outreach in the agricultural and life sciences. It recognizes the distinguished contribution of an individual to the mission. The prize is 100,000 USD per person and two recipients will be awarded.

GCHERA World Agriculture Prize | Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize 2021:
- An individual academic/faculty member must be from a higher education institution in recognition of the academic/faculty member’s lifetime achievements working in the disciplines relating to the agricultural and life sciences – including but not limited to agriculture, forestry, natural resources, food, bio-based products, bioenergy, rural development, and the environment.
- Each nominee will demonstrate exceptional and significant achievement in his or her engagement in the mission of higher education institutions in education, research, innovation, and outreach relating to the agricultural and life sciences.
Eligible Disciplines:
Agriculture, Forestry, Natural Resources, Food, Bio-Based Products, Bio-energy, Rural Development, and the Environment.

You can register to make a nomination on this page. You will then receive a password by email to allow you to log on to the online nomination form. You can update your nomination form at any time until the closing date.
