Whitworth University financial aid for International Student | Details
Amounts of academic scholarship awards offered to international first-year undergraduate students based on GPA and/or test scores, depending on the individual type of test. Eligible tests include any one of the following: SAT, ACT, IB exams, GCE A-Level Exams, TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo English Test (DET). If you have taken more than one of these exams, we will base your award on the highest test result. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years of study.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility criteria for the Whitworth University financial aid for International Student
- Applicants must be international students.
- Students admitted into Undergraduate degree program.
- Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration.
- Based on academic merit
- Students enrolling full time in the Honours program in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
- A high school transcript and/or GSE results (if your transcript is not in English, also require a certified translation).
- Applicants must have a High school certificate or equivalent.
- Candidates must be highly motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a structured manner and as good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time program at Whitworth University, USA.

How-to-Apply: Candidates seeking to apply for need-based aid, you must submit the College Board CSS Profile application by Creating your CSS Profile Account and apply through student.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile.
Applicants who are interested for Whitworth University First-Year Student Scholarships are offered automatically at the point of admission and can be renewed up to four years for students making satisfactory academic progress. Students who submit updated transcripts or test scores by April 1 will be considered for scholarship upgrades. Students who are homeschooled or who choose on their admission application to request an interview instead of submitting test scores should contact their admissions counselor regarding their academic scholarship offer.
