University of Queensland Higher Degree by Research Top Up Scholarship: Wine Australia offers a PhD and Master by Research scholarship program to help attract postgraduate students to the fields of wine, viticulture and wine business research. They are committed to supporting academic endeavour and encouraging the enthusiasm of the future leaders of oenology, viticulture and wine business researchers to support a prosperous Australian grape and wine community.
Top Up the RTP stipend to max value of $35,000 annually. Top Up any operating funds to max value of $10,000 annually. Dr Tony Jordan OAM Award for most outstanding applicant provides Top Up the RTP stipend to max value of $40,000 annually. Up to three years full-time PhD study and for up to two years full-time Master by Research study.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Candidates are expected to posses the following eligibility criteria for the University of Queensland Higher Degree by Research Top Up Scholarship;
- Applicants must be international students.
- The award is available for Masters & Doctoral research program in Agriculture and Environment, Business and Economics, Science and Mathematics offered by the University.
- Students enrolling full time in the Honours program in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree certificate or equivalent in the relevant field
- Applicants must have MSc degree certificate or equivalent in the relevant field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Independent thinking and analytical aptitude for devising innovative scientific or technical solutions.
- Demonstrate capacity for effective independent work and as part of a team
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility and confidence
- Candidates must be highly motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a structured manner, has good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time program at University of Queensland, Australia.
- English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the University of Queensland’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.
