US Department of State Professional Fellowship | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Professional Fellows Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 25 and 40 as of the first day of the Fellowship program
- Citizens and resident of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, or Ethiopia.
- Applicants must be eligible to receive a US J-1 visa
- Be proficient in spoken and written English
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience
- Ability to travel to the US for the five-week program duration
