The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) offers tuition-free International Master’s programmes to eligible international students to study in Norway in selected courses. The International master’s programmes are taught entirely in English. The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships are awarded to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds.

Eligibility Criteria | NTNU International Masters Programmes
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology International Master’s programmes;
- Candidates must be international student
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s certificate or equivalent.
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree at NTNU,
- English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the NTNU’s minimum English language proficiency requirements
Scholarships Available
NTNU generally charges international students with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland. However the following options are available for students to take advantage.
- Erasmus Mundus: scholarships for EU-students
- Anglo-Norse Society: £3000 is awarded each year to the best qualified British citizen receiving admission to a master´s degree at NTNU. You do not need to apply.
- EU loans: Some EU countries offers its citizens favourable loans to help you finance a master degree in an Erasmus+ Programme country
- GSEP – Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership: Scholarship for outstanding Master’s-level students from developing countries in fields related to sustainable energy development.

How-to-Apply: Candidates only need to apply for the Norwegian University of Science and Technology International Master’s programmes. Once your application is accepted for an applicable course, you will automatically be considered for this scholarship award, a separate application is not required.
