University of Aberdeen Scholarships and Funding Opportunities: The University of Aberdeen is an open research university in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is an old college established in 1495 when William Elphinstone, Bishop of Aberdeen, requested of Pope Alexander VI for the benefit of James IV, King of Scots to set up King’s College, making it Scotland’s third-most seasoned institution of learning and the fifth-most established in the English-talking world.
The University of Aberdeen scholarships are open to applicants holding an offer of admission for any campus-based one year, full-time postgraduate degree programme starting in September of the application year. This scholarship is intended only students admitted into full-time postgraduate degree programme. The scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students’ maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years).

Applicants must be classified by the University as Home/EU, RUK or Overseas for tuition fee purposes.
English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.
