Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Applicants for the Dame Margaret Clark Scholarship in Political Science must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must be master’s by thesis students (120 points)
- Applicants must have completed an honours degree in political science or international relations or a cognate discipline providing appropriate preparation for the completion of a Master’s thesis and be enrolled in a full year (120 point) Master’s thesis in political science or international relations at Victoria University of Wellington.
- Applicants must be taught master’s students
- Applicants must note that the selection for the Dame Margaret Clark Scholarship in political science will be awarded on academic merit and particularly the grades achieved in 300 and 400 level papers in political science or international relations.

Applicants who did not attend Victoria University of Wellington must have applied for or intend to apply for admission to the Master’s degree program at the university.
Applicants have attached certified copies of academic credentials such as the transcripts, degrees, diplomas to their application forms. Applicants must ensure that their referees forward their reference letters to the Scholarship office.
