University of Amsterdam Orange Tulip Scholarship | DETAILS

University of Amsterdam offer excellent and affordable bachelor’s and master’s programmes in English at a prime location in Europe. Degree programmes at UvA Economics and Business are organised in two Schools: the University of Amsterdam Business School (ABS) and the University of Amsterdam School of Economics (ASE).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility conditions to apply for the University of Amsterdam Orange Tulip Scholarship for South African students.

  • Applicants must be admitted into Masters program.
  • Have completed some research experience
  • Have completed an approved university degree and
  • Can meet the English language requirements of TOEFL iBT min. score: 100, IELTS min. score: 7.0, GPA: 80%, GMAT min. score: at least 640 expected, GRE min. score: at least 158 GRE QR expected.
  • Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration.
  • Based on academic merit.
  • Have completed an approved university degree and
  • Applicants must have a High school certificate or equivalent

Application Procedures

How-to-Apply:  All interested applicants can proceed to the online application form. It is expected that you are enrolled in a masters degree program programme to qualify for the scholarship.

Document Requirement: All applicants must submit the following documents;

  • Academic Transcript
  • Passport
  • Proof that you have started the admission process with the institution
  • Recommendation letter
  • Motivation letter specifically written for OTS: this letter is different from the general motivation letter for the programme as it focuses on the reasons why you think you need to be selected for OTS.
  • Link to an online form (more information will follow).
