UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award 2021 : Are you an extraordinary person or group of persons who beyond the call of duty in supporting refugees, internally displaced and stateless persons? Then you can be nominated for the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award 2021 which will make available USD 150,000 to the winner nominee to invest in their humanitarian work.
Nominations will consist of a description of the nominee’s work and how they fulfil the selection criteria. Information supporting the nomination, including websites, news articles, social media posts and other awards bestowed on the nominee are welcome. Be sure to provide evidence that the nominee have positively impacted the lives of the forcibly displaced and links to articles and publications as evidence.

UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award 2021 | ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award 2021, nominees must:
- Be an individual, group of people or organization that has displayed extraordinary humanitarian work on behalf of refugees, displaced or stateless people.
- Not nominate themselves as it will lead to outright disqualification.
- Have implemented projects that demonstrate courage and raise awareness for displaced people.
- Have carried out projects that reflect the values of UNHCR

Nomination Procedures
How-to-Nominate: Nomination form for the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award 2021 can be submitted online. Once the nominations are closed, you will receive a response from the Nansen Secretariat to conform the receipt of the nomination.
Nominations should consist of a description of the nominee’s work and how they fulfil the selection criteria. This includes details of why the nominee should be considered, evidence that they have positively impacted the lives of the forcibly displaced and links to articles and publications as evidence. Additional information supporting the nomination, including websites, news articles, social media posts and other awards bestowed on the nominee, is welcome.
Nominations will not be considered if three references are not included.
