TRAJECTS Scholarships 2021: Applications are invited from suitably qualified students for the TRAJECTS Scholarships award for masters and PhD students performing research in the area of Energy, Climate and Sustainability.

TRAJECTS a DAAD-funded project seeks to create and/or strengthen research and teaching capacities on Just Transitions in Energy, Climate and Sustainability, especially in the Global South.

TRAJECTS Scholarships 2021 | DETAILS

The TRAJECTS Scholarships seeks to support up to 30 scholarships for master students with a duration of two years, divided into three cohorts in the duration of the project. It will also support 16 scholarships for PhD students with a duration of three years, divided into two fully-funded PhD cohorts in the duration of the project. Beneficiaries will acquire new skills, benefit from exchange with other consortium partners, researchers and different stakeholders thereby qualifying graduates for the local and international employment market.

Eligibility Criteria

To be apply for the TRAJECTS Scholarships 2021 for Postgraduate studies, applicants must meet the underlisted requirements:

• Last degree certificate must not be older than six years when applying for the scholarship.
• Enrolment as Masters of PhD student at UMS/UCT/UNAL
• Must be interested in research areas covering the research interest of TRAJECTS.
• Newly enrolled or 1^st year Masters or PhD student at the beginning of the funding period.

Application Procedures

How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the TRAJECTS Scholarships 2021 are to complete an online application. Masters applicants are complete their application form while the PhD applicants are to complete the PhD application form.

Applications should be submitted according to the instructions of the host institution, e.g. via email together with all other documents (e.g. CV, motivation letter, certificates, references etc).

Additionally, applicants must register via an access application form. Applicants will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
