The SIPGA program offers outstanding students the opportunity to have a first-hand experience in a vibrant learning environment and access to research experts at A*STAR’s Research Entities. Students undertaking their Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in STEM Fields can apply for attachments of two to six months in duration.

Eligibility Criteria | Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025
To be eligible, all applicants for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) 2025 are expected to fulfil following conditions:
- Open to international 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses
- Obtained/on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for bachelor’s degree
- Students must remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong interest in a research career
The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive. A*STAR may include additional selection criteria based on prevailing scholarship policies.

Program Benefits
Awardees are provided with a monthly stipend of S$2,000 during their attachment in Singapore.
Application Procedure
How-to-Apply: Interested students who wish to apply for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award 2025 should visit the official website and follow the steps:
- Download the SIPGA project list to identify the project(s) of your interest
- Do prepare supporting documents for submission; a copy of your passport, complete academic transcripts (translated if not in English), and an updated resume/CV.
- Submit your online application, with the option to apply for up to three (3) projects.
- Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by A*STAR researchers for an online interview.
