Applications are currently open for the QuestBridge National College Match 2026, providing high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with an opportunity to gain early admission and a full four-year scholarship worth over $360,000 at some of the top colleges and universities in the United States.
Through the National College Match, eligible students can apply free of charge to QuestBridge’s college partners and rank up to 15 institutions for the Match. Successful Match Scholarship recipients receive funding covering the full cost of attendance, with no student loans and no parental contribution.

Program Overview
The QuestBridge National College Match is a college admission and scholarship application process connecting academically outstanding high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with some of the leading colleges and universities in the United States.
QuestBridge currently partners with 55 top U.S. colleges, and applicants can rank up to 15 participating institutions in order of preference.
In the 2025 National College Match, 2,550 Finalists were matched with QuestBridge college partners and received full four-year scholarships. More than 19,000 students have received full scholarships through the National College Match since the programme began.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the QuestBridge National College Match 2026, applicants should:
- Be a high school senior planning to attend college in the fall following graduation.
- Be currently attending high school in the United States, regardless of citizenship, or be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident currently living abroad.
- Demonstrate strong academic achievement, typically earning primarily A’s in the most challenging courses available.
- Demonstrate strong writing ability and intellectual curiosity.
- Show resilience, integrity and motivation to succeed.
- Come from a low-income background. Successful applicants typically come from households earning less than $65,000 annually for a family of four with minimal assets.
QuestBridge reviews applications holistically and does not impose absolute cut-offs for GPA, standardized test scores or household income.
Important: This opportunity is not open to students attending secondary schools outside the United States simply on the basis of being international students. Non-U.S. citizens may apply if they are currently attending high school in the United States, while U.S. citizens and permanent residents living abroad may also be eligible.
Scholarship Benefits
Students successfully matched with a QuestBridge college partner receive a full four-year Match Scholarship worth over $360,000.
The scholarship covers the full cost of attendance, including:
- Full tuition and fees.
- Housing and food.
- Books and supplies.
- Travel expenses.
- Other approved educational expenses.
- No parental contribution.
- No student loans.
Match Scholarships are funded directly by the participating QuestBridge college partners.
Recipients also become part of the QuestBridge Scholars and Alumni community, which currently includes more than 35,000 Scholars and Alumni and provides continued networking, career and development opportunities.

How to Apply
Applications for the National College Match are completed online through the QuestBridge application system.
Interested applicants should:
- Create a QuestBridge account and begin the National College Match application.
- Complete the application with the required personal, academic, financial, extracurricular and household information.
- Submit the required academic and supporting materials according to the application instructions.
- Submit the National College Match application by the deadline.
- Applicants selected as Finalists can rank up to 15 QuestBridge college partners for consideration for early admission and a full four-year Match Scholarship.
- Finalists who rank colleges must submit the additional Match requirements requested by each ranked institution.
- Successful applicants will be matched with the highest-ranked participating college on their list that is able to offer them admission and the Match Scholarship.
Applicants who are not matched may still have opportunities to seek admission to QuestBridge college partners through QuestBridge Regular Decision.
