Established in honour of the enduring legacy of Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, Lagos State’s first civilian governor, LJLA is committed to preparing change-driven individuals by equipping them with technical expertise and a strong foundation in integrity, innovation, and public service.

At the heart of LJLA is a mission to develop young people into leaders capable of tackling complex societal challenges and driving meaningful change across diverse sectors. By providing practical experiences, mentorship, and exposure to real-world challenges, the Academy nurtures critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and resilience, preparing young leaders to make a lasting impact.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • A citizen of Nigeria and Resident in Nigeria
  • Have at least two years of work experience
  • Be between 25 and 35 years old
  • Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Have a valid NYSC certificate or exemption certificate
  • Public sector applicants (Lagos State) must be within Grade Levels 8-12

Application Procedures
