Hatfield Lioness Scholarships 2021/22 | ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarships 2021/22:

  • Applicants must have applied for and been offered an unconditional place on their chosen master’s programme at the university.
  • Applicants must be a female not in receipt of any other scholarship to fund their postgraduate studies or have completed a degree in the UK before.
  • Applicants must be a national of the one of the eligible countries.
  • Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university.
  • Applicants must possess other course entry requirements including the relevant English language qualification.
  • Applicants must not hold a Master’s degree.

Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Dem. Rep Congo, Rep. Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea, Dem.   • Stipend for living expenses – 4 quarterly payments
  • One return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK, and the cost of return travel between the UK airport and Durham City
