Global Excellence Scholarships for Africans at the University of Exeter, 2020: The University of Exeter is pleased to announce the commencement of scholarship application for students from eligible African countries for the 2020/2021 Global Excellence Scholarships. The scholarship aims at providing opportunities for students from Africa to develop their academic capacities and contribute to the thriving campus community of students and staff from several countries around the world.

Global Excellence Scholarships recognize high academic achievements by students and seeks to award scholarship to such students. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis until June 30^th, 2020 or all allocated funds have been distributed. African students are hereby requested to harness the opportunity to learn in a world-class university.

Subject Eligibility: Eligible programmes are full time MA or MSc courses available at the University of Exeter except MBA, MSc Accounting and Taxation, MSc International Business, MSc Marketing, MSc Human Resource Management, MSc International Human Resource Management, MSc International Tourism, MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, MSc Finance and Investment, MSc Finance and Management, MSc Finance and Marketing, MA International Film Business, MA Creativity: Innovation and Business Strategy, MA Applied Security Strategy, MPA/MPA with Applied Studies, MA Education Online, MSc Island Biodiversity and Conservation, MSc Extreme Medicine.

Country/Candidate Eligibility: The scholarship is for students from Angola, Botswana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad republic, Comoros, Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Maldives, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somali, South Africa, Sudan, Swazi, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarships for Africans at the University of Exeter, 2020, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants are to hold nationalities in one of the eligible countries and are classed as international students for fee purposes.
• Applicants must have obtained good bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in relevant course before applying for the scholarship.
• Applicants must have been offered admission to begin an eligible full-time Master’s degree at the University of Exeter commencing in September, 2020.
