The Global Scholarship is worth up to a maximum of HK$221,120 (approx. US$28,300) covering the tuition fee of HK$141,120 (approx. US$18,100) as well as a living stipend of HK$80,000 (approx. US$10,200).

The Faculty of Law of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK LAW) is a highly international law school with professors from over twenty different jurisdictions. Our LLM students are equally international. The University has an LLM alumni body from over 40 countries/regions since the first intake in 2006.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Candidates are expected to meet the following eligibility criteria for the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK LAW) LLM Global Scholarships for International Students
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must be admitted into masters degree program.
- The award is available for courses in Master of Laws (LLM) in Chinese Business Law, Common Law, Energy and Environmental Law and International Economic Law offered at the University
- Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration.
- Based on academic merit
- Students enrolling full time in the Honours program in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
- A high school transcript and/or GSE results (if your transcript is not in English, also require a certified translation).
- Applicants must have a High school certificate or equivalent.
