Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative Entrepreneurship Program 2023 aimed at equipping student entrepreneurs in tertiary institutions with the skills, knowledge, and network to adapt to the changing business environment, innovate, and scale business towards promoting youth employment and economic growth.
The program will equip 50 aspiring and emerging student entrepreneurs in tertiary institutions across Lagos State with the skills, knowledge, and network to adapt to the changing business environment, innovate, and scale their businesses towards promoting youth employment and economic growth in Lagos State.
Carrington Youth Fellowship Entrepreneurship Program 2023 | DETAILS
The Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative, CYFI, is a dynamic youth-based initiative launched in 2011 by the U.S. Consulate General, Lagos. The aim of the program is to empower our members and young Nigerians with proactive engagement, training, collaboration and networking opportunities that promote careers development, and build organizations, and drive active citizenry.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the CYFI Entrepreneurship Program 2023, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Students in tertiary institutions
- Must demonstrate excellent leadership abilities
- Not more than 18 – 35 years
- Available to commit 3-4 hours weekly to the program from August to November
- Available to students in tertiary institutions in Lagos State only
