Call for Code Global Challenge 2021 | DETAILS
The Call for Code Global Challenge is calling on developers and problem solvers to form teams and develop solutions that address specific problems in special ways tailored to have the greatest community impact with the smallest technological footprint. The Competition has several components including: Global Challenge with grand prize up to $200,000 USD, University Challenge with grand prize up to $10,000 USD and Regional prizes up to $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Call for Code Global Challenge 2021 must meet the following criteria before applying:
- Teams of up to five (5) participants, each at least 18 years old.
- A participant may not be a part of multiple teams.
- Teams competing for the University Challenge must ensure that all team members are enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning.
- All team members must have accepted the 2021 Participation Agreement at the time they submit their solution to be eligible.
- Solutions must be built on creativity and must have an attribute of innovation.

Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Call for Code Global Challenge 2021 are to use one or more IBM Cloud Services or IBM Systems. Applicants must accept the Participation Agreement when registering for the Global Challenge.
