Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the Chinese Government Scholarship at Northeast Agricultural University 2021, applicants must ensure that they meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be non-Chinese-citizens in good health condition
- Applicants must be living abroad or previous graduates of universities in China
- Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35
- Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40

Scholarship Benefits
Full scholarship for the Chinese Government Scholarship at Northeast Agricultural University 2021 includes:
- Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, and fee for accommodation on campus;
- Fee for Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Benefit Plan for International Students in China.
- Monthly living allowance is paid to the students by the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):Master degree students will receive CNY 3,000 Yuan while doctoral degree students will receive CNY 3,500 Yuan
- NEAU provides free accommodation for Chinese Government Scholarship students. One doctoral student or master student shall live in one room.

Document requirements
Applicants are to provide the following materials truly and correctly (in duplicate).
1) Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (printed by CSC), the original document and a copy, filled in Chinese or in English downloaded online through http://www.csc.edu.cn, or www.campuschina.org .
2) Highest diploma (notarized photocopy) or pre-graduation certificates in English or Chinese.
3) Undergraduate and graduate transcripts in English or Chinese.4) A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words).
5) Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.
6) Published academic papers and academic achievements (not compulsory).
7) A copy of HSK certificate (not compulsory).
8) A copy of the passport.
9) Six 2 inch ID photos with white background.
10) Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled in English.
