Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants who wish to further their studies abroad to apply for the UCL Humanitarian Scholarship 2025-26 which seeks to enable students at serious risk/or displaced in their home country to pursue full-time masters degree in the UK.
The scholarship will afford successful candidates to study in one of the world’s prestigious university and covers tuition as well as accommodation and living costs for the duration of the programme.

UCL Humanitarian Scholarship 2025-2026 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the UCL Humanitarian Scholarship 2025/2026, Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be at serious risk as a direct result of armed conflict, and/or
- Be displaced inside or have been forced to leave your home country within the last three years because of armed conflict and have sought international protection outside of the UK
- Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
- Come from a lower income background.
- Not already holding a qualification at the level of course, or higher, to which you are applying.
- Hold an offer of a place on your chosen full-time Master’s at UCL by the scholarship panel meeting start of June 2025. (Please note distance learning and part-time Master’s are not eligible for this award).
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the UCL Humanitarian Scholarships to study in UK are to follow the instructions provided (below):
- Login to Portico with your normal details.
- Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for.
- In the application screen, click on the ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page.
- You are now on the funding page. To find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’.
- Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for.
