Study in Canada Scholarships 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Study in Canada Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
- Applicants must have obtained relevant academic qualifications required to be admitted into an educational institution in Canada.
- Be a citizen of an eligible country/territory including Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan, Türkiye, Ukraine, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda
- Be a student enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country/territory.
- Be paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of your exchange.
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Study in Canada Scholarships 2025 are to contact a Canadian institution for the institution to apply on behalf of the students before the application deadline.
The following are application instructions for Canadian institutions applying on behalf of eligible students:
- Assign a program coordinator to complete applications.
- Select “Login or Register” to create a My EduCanada account.
- Once you have logged into your account, select the Study in Canada Scholarships Program and click “Apply”.
- Enter data in the required fields and follow the instructions on the application form.
- Click “Validate and save” as you progress through the application form.
- Upload all required supporting documents. Each document must be smaller than 5 MB and in .jpg, .gif, .png, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt or .xlsx format.
- Review all components of your application for accuracy and completeness.
- Read and accept the conditions of the “Declaration and permission” statement. Click “Submit”. You will receive a confirmation message and a reference number for submitted applications.
- Save or print a copy of your completed application form using the “Download” function.

- Letter of intent from the candidate (maximum one page)
- Letter of proof of full-time enrolment from the home institution
- Letter of support from the home institution (maximum one page).
