Applications are now open for the University of Waterloo Perimeter Scholars International Award 2024. The university welcomes candidates (both domestic and international) interested in a Masters degree in Science – Physics and Astronomy to apply for the award.
The Perimeter Scholars International Award Program is jointly funded by the University of Waterloo who provides the tuition waiver and Perimeter Institute (PI) who provides funds intended to cover expenses related to travel, housing, food, textbooks and reference material, student services fees, and incidental stipends as assessed by PI.

Perimeter Scholars International Award | Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for University of Waterloo Perimeter Scholars International Award, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be either domestic or international students
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree certificate or equivalent
- Applicants must enrol and be accepted in the Perimeter Scholars International Program
- Applicants might be asked to provide proof of English language proficiency (candidates from non-English speaking countries)
Scholarship Benefits
Students accepted into the Perimeter Scholars International Program will be eligible for full financial support of their program to include;
- full tuition scholarships
- travel allowance,
- housing allowance,
- feeding allowance
- textbooks and reference material,
- student services fees cover, and
- incidental stipends.
