The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) Inc. USA is pleased to award NWAG Scholarship Awards to Nigerian Students who are currently enrolling in Undergraduate programs in Nigerian Universities. The awards are 111 one-time scholarships, three per state of origin as well as three for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Each Undergraduate student in a Nigerian University who win the 2024 scholarship award will receive three hundred US dollars ($300). A sum of One hundred and fifty US dollars ($150) will be awarded to each 1st runner up, while a sum of One hundred US dollars would be awarded to each 2nd runner up. The scholarship award will be given in Naira equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the NWAG Scholarship Awards for Nigerian Students are as follows:
- Applicants must be Nigerian students
- Applicants must be undergraduate students
- Applicants must enrol in full-time program
- An explanation of why you need or why you should receive the scholarship (Not more than one-half typed page)
- A typed written, double spaced, two-page easy on:

Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested prospective applicants are advice to visit NWAG website at www.nwag.org to download an application form. Applicants are required to submit the following documents together with their completed application form:
- Proof of State of Origin
- Letter of Origination from the University or a letter from your Local Government office.
- Two letters of recommendation from any of the following:
- Pastor or Imam
- Village Head
- Local Government Chairperson
- University Lecturer or Head of the Department
- One recommendation letter from either Dean of Faculty or school Head of your Department.
- Photocopy of your current University Identification Card
- A current photograph of yourself.
