NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship 2024 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and an indigene of any of the NLNG’s Host Communities studying any of the eligible courses.
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized public university in the United Kingdom.
- Must have graduated with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in relevant field, from a Nigerian university.
- Must have completed one year of compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Have a minimum of 8.0 IELTS score (with not less than 7.0 in each element) OR 102 grade at TOEFL OR 73-79 grade at Pearson Test of English Language (PTE).
- Be NOT more than 30 years of age at the time of application.
- Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in his/her community.
- Provide a letter of identification from applicable Local Government Council.
- Possess a domiciliary bank account (GBP and USD) with either GT Bank or First Bank for use if successful.
- Have demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership ability.
- Have a clear vision of how his/her study will benefit the chosen field, Community, and Nigeria.
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
- Must NOT be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of NLNG.
