Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship | DETAILS
As a Chancellor’s Scholar, you will receive a living allowance and/or a living allowance, and a guaranteed place in a professional graduate degree course.
In addition, you will receive a Melbourne Global Scholars Award to help broaden your horizons with financial support for overseas study.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen, and have completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia
- be an Australian citizen and have completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate outside Australia
- be a citizen of a country other than Australia and completed Australian Year 12 or IB in Australia,
- not have completed subjects undertaken as part of a tertiary course (except subjects that were part of an extension program)
- have applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate course via VTAC for commencement in the year following completion of Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate
- meet the entry requirements for the University of Melbourne course nominated in your VTAC application and either:
- have achieved an ATAR of at least 99.90
- intend to undertake the Bachelor of Music and have achieved an ATAR of at least 99.85 and achieved an audition score of A+
- be of Indigenous Australian descent and have achieved an ATAR of at least 90.

Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: If you are eligible and applied for study at the University of Melbourne through VTAC, you are automatically considered for a Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship, so you will not need to make a separate application.
