The KAS scholarship is opened for students from all disciplines with excellent academic performance who wish to undertake their postgraduate studies in Germany. Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to submit their application by the application deadline.

KAS Scholarship 2026 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship, Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be young, dedicated individuals who are highly skilled and interested in important socio-political developments.
- Applicants must be people who regularly volunteer and use their abilities for the common good.
- Applicants must have completed their high school diploma and university studies with good to very good grades.
- Applicants must be motivated, open-minded, and have the potential to achieve their self-set goals.
- Applicants who want to actively participate in KAS non-material support and contribute regularly to their university group. After completing their studies, applicants continue to e committed to good relations between their home country and the Federal Republic of Germany.
Scholarship Benefits
- Non-material support to include diverse seminar program, individual consultation, network of international scholars.
- Full tuition payment
- Master’s applicants will receive a monthly stipend of €992.
- Doctoral candidates will receive a monthly stipend of €1,400.
- Health and long-term care insurance of €120.
- A family supplement of €276.
- Subsidized research trips outside Germany for doctoral students.
