The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship is open for applications to all practicing journalists from all over the world. Applicants to this fellowship should be prepared to step back from professional obligations to devote themselves to the fellowship program designed to help them develop the leadership resilience needed for these times in carrying out their duty. The fellowship is facilitated and hosted by Stanford University, USA.
The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship is packaged to help journalists who want to grow as journalist and leader, believing that their best work is ahead of them. Those who are excited about the opportunity to be coached, and have their mindset and perception placed in journalism, and are yearning to be “in fellowship” with a group of other journalists from varied professional and personal backgrounds are welcome. The JSK Journalism Fellowship is a 9-month journey of professional and personal exploration.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship:
- S. and international journalists working in news organizations, independent journalists, journalism entrepreneurs and journalism innovators are eligible for our program.
- At least five years of full-time professional journalism experience. No college degree or experience in traditional newsrooms is required.
