The fellowship affords junior scientists the opportunities to conduct independent research by utilizing state-of-the-art infrastructure and to grow on the basis of research collaborations with leading researchers.

Institute for Basic Science Young Scientist Fellowship 2021 | ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the Institute for Basic Science Young Scientist Fellowship 2021, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have obtained a relevant Ph.D not more than seven years and must be under the age of 40 years.
- Must demonstrate excellent research abilities.
- Applicants who are still in their doctoral studies must be conferred with a Ph.D degree no later than 31st August 2021.
Fellowship Benefits
- Annual fund of KRW 150 – 300 mil. per year including salary of KRW 60-70 mil.
- Access to research facilities and equipment at their Centers.
