The GREAT Scholarships 2024 programme, launched by the British Council and 49 UK universities, supports postgraduate students accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.

GREAT Scholarships at University of Manchester | DETAILS
The programme offers a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing a one-year postgraduate programme in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects at the 49 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
A scholarship application form will be emailed to all relevant offer-holders by the International Office from mid-January 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for GREAT Scholarships for International Students at University of Manchester, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must be holding either a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University to apply for The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarship.
- Applicants should be passport holders of Bangladesh, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, Mexico and Nigeria.

How-to-Apply: As part of the application process for GREAT Scholarships for International Students at University of Manchester, You must complete a GREAT scholarship application form by 26 April 2024. This will be emailed to all relevant offer holders by the International Office.
