Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships 2025/2026 welcomes applications from International Students. The EACH – Excellence in Analytical CHemistry programme is an international two-year Joint Master’s degree programme meant to educate specialists in analytical chemistry and qualify them to work in industries like in food, pharmaceutical, materials, & energy, and chemical analysis laboratories like in environment, food, and health, worldwide. EACH provides knowledge and skills in both fundamental and applied aspects of modern analytical chemistry.
The Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships programme is run by four universities: University of Tartu (UT, coordinator), Estonia; Uppsala University (UU), Sweden; University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL), France; and Åbo Akademi University (AAU), Finland. Students spend the first study year at UT learning the fundamental concepts and skills of analytical chemistry, metrology in chemistry, and the quality and socio-economic aspects of analytical chemistry (in the framework of the UT’s Applied Measurement Science programme). The second year is oriented towards specific applications of analytical chemistry and is spent either at UCBL, UU or AAU.

Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships 2025/2026, students must be:
- Graduates with Bachelor’ s degrees in physics, chemistry, materials science, natural sciences, engineering, technology or medicine
- Practitioners in analysis and measurement laboratories who are facing the fast development of analytical methods and new regulations (Quality systems, ISO 17025 accreditation, etc.)
- Personnel of laboratories, accreditation, certification and inspection agencies
- Quality managers in different industries

- On completion of studies double degrees are awarded:
- The first degree will be from UT: Master of Science (Excellence in Analytical Chemistry).
- The second degree will be one of the three:
– Master of Science (120 credits). Main Field of Study: Chemistry – UU
– Master of Physical and Analytical Chemistry (Industrial Analysis) – UCBL
– Master of Science (Technology), (Master’s Programme of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry) – AAU
Application Procedure
To apply for the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships 2025/2026:
- Submit the online application form via the online application system DreamApply by January 5. You will receive an applicant code, which gives access to your account to track your application status.
- Before submitting the online application form, upload the electronic copies of all the required documents to the online application system DreamApply and add the final version of your motivation letter. (Please see country-specific education document requirements)
Documents to be uploaded to the online system:
1) Online application form
2) Motivation letter (part of the application form)
3) Official copy of the Bachelor’s diploma or its equivalent and Diploma Supplement (transcript/mark sheet with grading scale) in the original language
4) Official translation of the Bachelor’s diploma and Diploma Supplement (transcript/mark sheet with grading scale) or their equivalent into English, translation certified
5) Copy of the passport page stating the applicant’s personal particulars
6) Proof of the English language proficiency or proof of having registered for one of the international tests
7) Proof of residence (from your local municipality, etc.)
