Eisenhower Fellowships Africa Program 2021 for Regional Leaders: Applications are invited from mid-career leaders who are passionate about improving the quality of life and climatic conditions in Africa for the Eisenhower Fellowships 2021 Africa Program. Fellows are invited innovative projects to mitigate the impacts of global warming across sub-Saharan Africa.
The program which is a fellowship for Africans will combine a mix of virtual and in-person meetings spread over several weeks bringing African leaders to the United States for a unique personal and professional experience. Interested mid-career leaders are encouraged to apply.

Eisenhower Fellowships seeks to identify, empower and connect innovative leaders through a transformative fellowship experience and lifelong engagement in a global network of dynamic change agents committed to creating a world more peaceful, prosperous and just.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Eisenhower Fellowships 2021 Africa Program for Regional Leaders:
- Applicants must be aged 32 to 45 years, dynamic doers and working in fields actively confronting climate change, including agriculture, housing, public safety, environmental protection, finance, water quality, food security and energy.
- Applicants must have the passion to advocate for solutions to mitigate the dangers of climate change in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership abilities.
- Applicants must be able to interact with people of diverse culture, religion and background.
