Applications are invited from bright researchers from all over the world to apply for the DAAD Alnet Fellowship which is a two-step networking program that offers participants the opportunity to interact face-to-face with leading researchers in Germany to collaborate on new research and career opportunities.
Successful candidates will get a comprehensive overview of the German AI research landscape and career options as well as get in touch directly with leading researchers from their field to discuss opportunities for collaborations and employment. The DAAD AInet Fellowship is awarded twice a year to a group of outstanding international early career researchers in the field of artificial intelligence.

DAAD Alnet Fellowship 2022/23 | Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the DAAD Alnet Fellowship, interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a very strong scientific track record evidenced by relevant publications and/or academic accomplishments.
- Have obtained a PhD/doctorate no longer than 5 years ago – candidates for a PhD/doctorate should be in their final year before their defense.
- Experienced (or at least demonstrated interest) in the host institutions’ areas of research.
- Not been affiliated with a German institution during the last two years.
