The Connecticut Governor’s Fellowship Program is open to early-career professionals who are looking for an opportunity to gain skills and experience in state governance. Fellows have the opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities and access to the leadership within state government.
The program is a partnership with the Connecticut Office of the Governor, Connecticut Department of Administrative Services, Yale University Tobin Center for Economic Policy, and Social Impact Partners. Each fellow is placed at an executive branch agency within Connecticut state government and will work on policy and strategic initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria | Connecticut Governor’s Fellowship Program
To meet up the eligibility criteria for Connecticut Governor’s Fellowship Program 2025, the following conditions are required:
- BA required; MBA, JD, MPP, MPA, MPH, or MEd preferred
- 4‐8 years of work experience, with a track record of achievement and ability to work independently in fast‐paced work environments and lead projects from start to finish
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and proven ability to work comfortably across sectors and among various stakeholders
- Relevant subject matter and/or functional expertise
- Passion for public service and willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication

How-to-Apply: Candidates interested in participating in the Connecticut Governor’s Fellowship 2025 are to sign up online and submit a Statement of Qualification that must include the following documents in PDF format:
