UNESCO 2021 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant: UNESCO is pleased to announce to young women and men its UNESCO 2021 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant which aims to mobilize young researchers for further study of the Silk Roads shared heritage. The grant is a new initiative organized by UNESCO with the support of the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO.
Postgraduate researchers aged 35 and younger at the time of application are eligible for the grant which may be carried out by an individual researcher or may be part of the research of a group or collaborative project.

UNESCO 2021 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant | ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the UNESCO 2021 Silk Roads Youth Research Grant:
- Applicants must be postgraduate researchers who are 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Research may be carried out by an individual researcher or may be a part of the research of a group or collaborative project.
- Proposed research must focus on the results of cultural interactions and exchanges.
