Eligibility Criteria
Applicants to the Brunel University VC’s Excellence Scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must have an offer to study on a full time postgraduate taught program starting in January 2025 of the 2024/25 academic year.
- Applicants must have a minimum 2:1 and above or equivalent internationally recognized undergraduate qualification.
- Must be classed as an Overseas fee-paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded. Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government.
- All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.
- Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit within the deadline to secure their fee reduction.

The Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship offers up to £5,000 tuition fee reduction applied to the first year of study only.

Application procedure
- There is no separate application for the Brunel University VC’s Excellence Scholarship. Applicants will be considered automatically for the award when they have met the academic criteria, have paid the deposit and the funds have been received.
- The fee reduction will be confirmed in January 2025, of the 2024/25 academic year, subject to meeting all conditions stated on the offer email.
