The Bank’s development agenda is delivering the financial and technical support for transformative projects that will significantly reduce poverty through inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The broad objectives of the Program are to provide the opportunity to acquire and develop the ability to work in an international environment, provide the Bank a pool of potential candidates in the future and enhance the visibility of the Bank and its development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for African Development Bank Group Virtual Internship Program, you are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Aged 30 and below by 31 December 2024;
- Holds a bachelor’s degree and is enrolled in a master’s degree program or its equivalent in a recognized public or private institution of higher learning; or is applying for the internship within one year of having obtained a master’s degree;
- Can provide proof of enrolment in a university / professional institution/ school
- Is a citizen of a member country of the African Development Bank;
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) in English or French, with a working knowledge of the other language;
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
