Program Overview | PAU Mastercard Scholarships 2026-2027
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University will award a total of 160 graduate scholarships for eight years, which started in the 2026/27 Academic year. The scholarship will directly benefit academically talented but disadvantaged youths from Africa.
The Graduate Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is designed to help Scholars acquire transformational and leadership skills and demonstrate high professional and scholarly competencies to effectively influence global, regional, national and local socioeconomic development trends.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Pan-Atlantic Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, interested applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Show leadership potential and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have passed WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with 5 credits, including English and Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects in Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences (in not more than two sittings)
- Have a UTME minimum score of 220 (Required UTME subjects: English Language and any three Social Science, Arts, or Science subjects)
