University of Wolverhampton International Scholarships: There exist several international scholarships at University of Wolverhampton for students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The scholarship seeks to provide funding for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University.

  1. Lord Paul Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

As a student of the University of Wolverhampton, you could be eligible for the Lord Paul Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship which is valued at up to £2,000. Applicants must have been offered full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at the University for the 2024/25 academic session.

  1. Lord Paul Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship

Students of the University of Wolverhampton could be eligible for the Lord Paul Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship is valued up to £2,000 for students who hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught programme at the University. These scholarships are available only to students paying international fees. Applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship by the admission team once application is received.

  1. Global Opportunities Regional Scholarship

The University of Wolverhampton is pleased to announce the Global Opportunities Office regional Awards. There are 20 scholarships of £3,000 per year for students from the Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and North Africa, East Asia and Pakistan, Europe and The Americas. Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at University of Wolverhampton. Applicants can fill and submit the Regional Scholarship form by July deadline.

  1. International Academy Scholarship

The scholarships are awarded to all students who successfully complete the Pre-Sessional Programme and join the University of Wolverhampton for a three-year university degree. Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate programme at University of Wolverhampton for entry in academic year 2024/2025.

  1. Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship is available for University Wolverhampton graduates (including those from the University’s partner institutions) for postgraduate taught on-site study only. The scholarship is valued up to £3,000. Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at University of Wolverhampton.

  1. University of Wolverhampton Sanctuary Scholarship

Two scholarships are available a year for students who have sought refuge in the UK. The scholarships are both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate University of Wolverhampton Sanctuary Scholarship that covers tuition fee waiver and living costs bursary of £3,000 per year. Interested and eligible applicants are to fill in and submit the Sanctuary Scholarship form by July deadline.

  1. University of Wolverhampton Sports Scholarship

The University provides scholarships for students competing at junior and senior international level as well as student athletes competing at a nationally recognized standard within their sport. To apply for the WLV Sport Scholarship, applicants are to complete the online application form.

  1. GREAT Scholarships

GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by University of Wolverhampton with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council. The scholarship offers a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for one year master’s programmes to international students.

  1. Commonwealth Shared Scholarships

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are jointly funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and UK universities. These scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower middle income Commonwealth countries. The University is offering two Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for the academic reference year in MSC Advanced Technology Management (sustainability) and MSc in Health & Social Care.

  1. Commonwealth PhD Scholarships

Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for candidates from least developed countries and fragile states in the Commonwealth, for full-time doctoral study at a UK university. Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Commonwealth PhD Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

  1. Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship

Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships are for candidates who are natives of low and middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study at a UK university. Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

  1. Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships

Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships are for PhD candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries to spend up to 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country. The scholarship is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

  1. Chevening Scholarship

Chevening scholarships are available at the University of Wolverhampton for international students. Chevening is the UK Government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships.

  1. External Funded Scholarships

There are several externally funded scholarships available to students enrolled for studies at the University of Wolverhampton. These scholarships include the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds (PhD), Foundation for Women Grants, Postgrad Solutions Ltd all nationalities, RADMA, Single Parent Scholarships, The International Research Foundation for English Language Education and The Whitworth Scholarships Trust Fund.
