About the Scholarship Program (Global Excellence Scholarships)

Global Excellence Scholarships recognise high academic achievement and are some of the highest valued awards offered by the University.  The scholarship is awarded as a £5,000 reduction in 2020 tuition fees. No cash alternative is available.

Eligible programmes are all full time campus based taught MA or MSc degrees with the exception of the following courses: MBA, MA Applied Security Strategy, MA Creativity: Innovation and Business Strategy, MA Education Online, MA International Film Business, MPA / MPA with Applied Studies, MSc Accounting and Taxation, MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, MSc Extreme Medicine, MSc Finance and Investment, MSc Finance and Management, MSc Finance and Marketing, MSc Human Resource Management, MSc International Business, MSc International Human Resource Management, MSc International Tourism, MSc Island Biodiversity and Conservation, MSc Marketing. Eligibility Criteria and Entry requirements:

You can apply for the Global Excellence Scholarships (East Asia) 2020/2021 at the University of Exeter if you:

• hold one of the following nationalities: Hong Kong, Japanese, Mongolian, North Korean, South Korean, Taiwanese  AND
• are classified as an international student for fees purposes AND
• already hold an offer to start an eligible full-time Masters degree at the University of Exeter, commencing in September 2020.
• Scholarship recipients are selected on academic merit, based on the information you have supplied in your programme application.
• Awardees will be expected to demonstrate that they have achieved or are able to achieve the equivalent of a UK upper second class degree.
