Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards for Tertiary Students 2019: The Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Board hereby invites applications from suitably qualified students for the Board’s Tertiary Students awards 2019. About 30 students will be awarded the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship awards this year which is a yearly award. Successful candidates will be hosted to an award ceremony and will receive a cash award of N150,000 each which covers for stipends, books and other educational expenses.

General Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: To be qualified for the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship awards, the following eligibility conditions must be met;
- Applicants must be poor and indigent.
- Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e Universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
- Applicants must have good academic performance.
- Applicants Must not have benefitted from this award before
Application Procedures for the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards for Tertiary Students 2019 – How-to-Apply:
Interested and qualified candidates should submit an Application Letter of not more than two (2) pages. The Letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.
The Application Letter must be accompanied by:
- A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity Card
- A letter from the candidate’s current head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session
- A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution
- A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester; and
- Two (2) current passport photographs.

Award Ceremony for the Successful Candidates of the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards:
There is usually an award ceremony held for those who eventually emerge successful awardees for the yearly Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship.
For this year award, successful candidates will be celebrated and awarded the Scholarships on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Nigerian Law Publication House, Otunba Jobi Fele – Way, C.B.D., Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos at 12.00 Noon.
