The scholarship is for the summer programme which would usually start on the last Friday in June running through to last Friday of August of every year.

The Vienna BioCenter is a main life science area in Europe: a flourishing grounds that consolidates fundamental research organizations, colleges and biotech organizations. Eligibility and Basic Requirements:
To be eligible for this summer school scholarship program, the following eligibility conditions are necessary; applicants for Vienna Summer School Biomedical Scholarships Austria, 2019 must have:
- Completed at least 2 years of a University study (eg. 2/3 years of a Bachelor study or at least 1 year of a Master study – by 30 June)
- Some previous research experience
- Good academic record
- High level of English language
- Evidence of enrolment in a University programme for the current academic year and the next year (if possible)
Application Procedures
Interested persons are required to upload their application online to the scholarship application portal provided. All documents should be uploaded in English or German, otherwise, translation should be attached. Reference letter may not be required at this stage of application.
