Call for Application: Acumen West Africa Fellowship 2021: Applications are invited from entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and organization-builders in both public and private sectors to apply for the 2021 round of the Acumen West Africa Fellowship. The fellowship is a practical skills acquisition intensive year-long leadership development program designed to equip extraordinary individuals with the tools, mindset, and community to tackle poverty and injustice in their communities.

Successful fellows are extraordinary leaders who dare to embrace the difficult journey of social change where the curriculum is centered on adaptive leadership, authentic voice, good society readings, managing polarities and systems thinking. Acumen fellows engage in a mix of in-person and online seminars designed to improve capacity to innovate and drive change, learn relevant, real-world, core curriculum focused on developing the skills needed to make lasting social impact.

Fellowship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the Call for Application: Acumen West Africa Fellowship 2021, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must be entrepreneurs, intrpreneurs and organization-builders who are passionate about social change. They should be resident or natives of West African Countries. However, individuals who are on various career paths and personal journeys can apply.
• Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency as all the seminars and training will be conducted in English.
• Applicants must be individuals who currently have a leadership role in an organization or initiative committed to fighting poverty or injustice on a full-time basis. Individuals who are working part-time can be considered in an exceptional case as long as they demonstrate a full-time commitment to fighting poverty or injustice.

How-to-Apply

The application process consists of the following steps:

Step 1: Leave your information by completing the online form and be the first to know when applications open.

Step 2: Apply online for the fellowship as application opens 1^st July and closes 6^th August.

Step 3: Complete stage 2 application

Step 4: Attend an in-person Selection Conference in mid-November

Step 5: Fellows are announced in January 2021
