2020 International Student Scholarship at the University of Houston-Victoria: International students who wish to enrol for a study program in the United States of America are invited to apply for the 2020/21 International Student Cultural Scholarship at the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV), United States of America. The scholarship is open to all new and returning international students awarded during their first semester. Students wishing to extend the scholarship beyond the first semester are to maintain the International Student Cultural Scholarship (ISCS) requirements.

The scholarship is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate study programs enrolled by international students on a full-time basis. All international students must meet the requirements for admission to study at University of Houston-Victoria.

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the 2020 International Student Scholarship at the University of Houston-Victoria applicants are to meet the following criteria:

• Applicants that are applying as new F-1/J-1 international students must have been admitted to UHV before the scholarship award. Once the student is admitted, the scholarship worth will be listed in the student’s immigration documents. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time study program to be eligible.
• All new international students must attend the mandatory international student orientation.
• Applicants must have obtained the necessary qualifications required for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses at UHV.
• Applicants must be willing to contribute 10 volunteer hours every semester assisting International Programs Office to host events such as the International Festival, International Education Week and International Sash Ceremony.
